TREK: children's ministry
TREK is our children’s ministry here at the journey, for Pre-K thru 5th grade (we also have nursery for infants thru toddlers) and it takes place during our worship time.
Warning, this is not a sterile environment!
Don’t worry, that doesn’t mean we don’t clean - it just means it's not boring! We even have a tree fort!
Our TREK leaders are wonderfully creative and loving! They work hard to engage your children, making sure they know they are loved by God and the people who teach them. And our TREK leaders want your kids to have a blast of a good time!! Yes, these teachers teach the stories of the Bible but our belief is that kids learn best in an environment that is loving, safe and fun!
How does this work?
Children join their parents for the first part of our worship service and then are invited to join their TREK leaders during the “meet and greet” time of the service. Parents are asked to stop at the TREK Children’s Ministry check-in table located by the south entrance to sign their children in before bringing them to their respective classroom. First-time guests will be asked to fill out some information about their children. All children in our care are given a name tag with a matching ID ticket. The matching ID ticket must be turned in when you pick up your child. This if for your child's safety and your peace of mind. Parents are then encouraged to pick up their children immediately following the service.

R.A.P. - Middle/High School Youth
R.A.P. is all about relationships; a relationship with God, relationships with the leaders and relationships with other students. So whether the group is hanging out at someone’s house or BaseCamp (what we call our church's building)--talking, eating, studying the Bible or studying for exams or hanging off the side of a rock (literally!!)--this group is all about growing together!
