MOPS journey, a ministry to moms of preschoolers (and more!).
About MOPS
The MOPS Mission: MOPS International encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders, in relationship with Jesus, and in partnership with the local church.
MOPS seeks to gather and support moms. They believe in the simple but revolutionary idea that remarkable things happen when moms come together. Their acronym stands for “Mothers of Preschoolers” because they began in 1973 when a group of moms with young children banded together to share their lives and parenting journeys. Over the past 45 years, MOPS has expanded their reach to include ALL moms. In addition, they are partnering with churches and organizations worldwide to equip and encourage moms in more than 68 countries.

Ways to participate
We are looking for:
Paid positions:
MOPS Board Members - Women to come together to be a strong leadership team for the many duties in MOPS
Child Care Leads - Responsible people who can allow our moms to have a break and connect (must have a background check)
Everything else:
Mothers and Children to join MOPS
Mentor moms- Older Moms who have older or grown children to mentor our young moms
Prayer team - Women to show up for our moms and pray with them
Child care volunteer - Somebody who loves hanging out with kids (must have a background check)
Event Volunteers for Holidays
MOPS donors- Monetary either towards MOPS or to sponsor a mother or mothers, or towards MOPS Conference and Mom’s stays
MOPS Donors of physical donations - We always need things like décor, food, beverages, wrapping paper, bags, boxes, lights, trees, and other things for regular gatherings as well as holiday gatherings and events.
