Our Vision

We believe God desires a close personal relationship with us today. He modeled this through His relationships with Abraham, Moses, and David as well as the relationship Jesus had with His disciples. God proved it to us when He sent Jesus Christ to remove all barriers between us and him through his death and resurrection.

(Genesis 1, 15-17, The book of Exodus, I Kings 11:4 , Matthew 12:30, & 22:37-38, John 3:16, Romans 8, Revelations 3:20)

We believe that God has equipped each believer with spiritual gifts so together we might make a difference in the lives of people and the world. Therefore, believers need to discover, develop and utilize their gifts, shaped by an attitude of love, unity, and service.

(Romans 12:6-16, I Corinthians 12, James 1:26, 2:14-26)

We believe God created the whole universe, therefore everything belongs to Him. God has entrusted us with His resources for building up His kingdom as well as for meeting the personal needs of ourselves and others. In mercy, we must care for “the poor, the widowed and the orphan” as well as all of God’s creation, with our time, energy and finances.

(Genesis1:28-30, Malachi 3:10, Micah 3, Micah 6:8, James1:27, 2:14-19 )

To become a biblically functioning church that impacts people’s lives and makes a difference in our world through the Good News of Jesus Christ.
To create communities of people who are being transformed by Christ to become like Him.
Helping people grow closer to God wherever they are on their spiritual journey.
We Value God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit, therefore we are committed to seeking God’s values and aligning our values with His.

We believe God created people to be in close personal relationship with each other. In fact, we believe that loving relationships should permeate every aspect of our lives.

(Genesis 1, Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, John 13:34-35, Acts 2:42-47, Romans 12:10, 13-16, I Corinthians 12-14)

We believe God created all people and therefore all people belong to Him by right. However, through our sin we lost our sense of belonging. Yet, God values people who are far from Him, so much so, He sent Jesus Christ to help people find their way home. We find God when we acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We believe that God, in His wisdom, has delegated the church as His key instrument in seeking and saving the lost.

(Luke 15, John 3:16, Romans 3: 23-25 2 Corinthians 5:18 )

We believe God designed us to continually progress in our relationship with Him. As we seek to be real and be like Christ, our lives will honor God, attract others to Him and create the fulfilling life God intended. We believe the pursuit of complete devotion to the cause of Christ should be normal for all believers. Since Jesus gave his life for us, we seek to give our lives to him.

(John 8:11b, John 16, Luke 23, Romans 12:2, Ephesians 4:22-24ff, & 5:8 10, Galatians 5:22-23 and Philippians 2:1-11)

We believe God wants us to talk with Him and He with us. Prayer is how we communicate with God, how we are energized to serve, and how we demonstrate our dependence on God.

(2 Chronicles 6:14ff, Isaiah 56:7, Matthew 14:23, 21:13 & 26:36-46)

We believe God values the praise of His people. In fact, we believe God created and saved people to worship Him as an expression of love for Him. This takes place when we seek to encounter God, as a community or by ourselves, in every aspect of life.

(Psalms 95, 96, 145-150 Ephesians 1:11-14, Colossians 3:15-17 & 23)
